Summary/Objective

The customer service representative position is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to all customers through phone and written communications.

Essential Functions

  • Assist customer service team in day to day activities like order processing, returns, EDI Error management, customer pricing inquiries.
  • Works as a member of special or ongoing projects that are important to area/process improvement
  • Resolve all customer queries
  • Escalate as appropriate to manager matters outside the scope of resolution or decision making for the role
  • Co-ordination and support of teamwork between customer service, sales, finance and marketing
  • Maintain relevant, accurate and accessible records
  • Day to day liaising with 3PL and resolve any customer order, delivery or return issues.

 

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years proven Customer Service Experience
  • SAP experience preferred    
  • Sales force.com experience preferred
  • EDI error management Experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for achieving results
  • Customer Service focused.
  • Prior Medical device or healthcare industry experience preferred.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a call centre office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

Customer service experience in a medical device or healthcare industry preferred.
